Capgemini Infrastructure Services is one of the biggest outsourcing service providers in Poland. Today, our team of 1,600 professionals delivers IT outsourcing services to 40 clients in 20 languages.

Currently, to our Infrastructure Services Centre in Katowice, Kraków and Opole we are looking for candidates for the position of:

Release Manager

Job summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the Release Management Life Cycle across all delivery teams and the relevant customer teams in line with industry best practice models based on ITIL. The Release Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the teams function as efficiently as possible in addition to establishing solid relationships with customer resources to ensure that the impact to services remains minimal at all times. The role requires thorough business awareness and understanding of implications and accountabilities in wider context within the customer organization.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible and accountable for the on time delivery of all Release Process outputs as defined in the release policy, process and procedure
• Accountable for customer satisfaction as it relates to delivery of release to agreed SLA
• Be comfortable for the delivery of Release requirements using a variety of communication methods such as presentations, training, meetings and knowledge sessions
• Provides process input and governs by coordinating and facilitating the delivery of all phases of the Release lifecycle through the defined teams
• Provides valued input into the definition and improvement of best practice for Release management within the company
• Acts as a team player and may mentor to support and improve the skills of colleagues. Recognizing jobs well done
• Dealing with conflict and relationship management
• Managing the deployment of daily/night and weekend

Requirements:

• MS Project and Visio experience
• The ability to adapt technical language and methodology to engage non technical audiences
• Knowledge and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Able to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines and be accountable
• Must have high level negotiation skills when working with Operational groups
• Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the program, its environment and related issues
• Perfect communication skills, expert organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
• 1+ year similar or related role with experience within a Service Delivery environment on the enterprise scale
• Knowledge of software configuration, release program principles and tools
• Expert organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
• Detailed understanding of the end to end software engineering life cycle (from planning and scoping through to decommissioning)
ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate
• Excellent command of English language, knowledge of German language would be a benefit
