Job description
• Supporting of a global infrastructure environment
• Daily Operation Management: Logfile analysis, Backup review and planning
• Scripting and task automation
• Multi-technology troubleshooting
• Lead troubleshooting teams
• Proactive and strategic (re)design of the IT landscape
• Change planning, preparation, implementation and leading of change teams
• Capacity planning
• Business Continuity Tests: planning and execution
• Documentation
• On-Call duty
Candidate’s profile
• Experience in supporting of a global infrastructure environment
• Very good knowledge in RedHat Linux 5 and 6 (certification preferred)
• Application support (BM-Websphere, JBOSS – is a must, Apache, Tomcat – an advantage)
• Programming/Scripting:(Shell-scripts,Java, PL/SQL – is a must, PERL – an advantage)
• Network: basic knowledge of IP 4 (addressing, subnetting, routing)
• VMWare / general virtualization concepts
• Usage of Microsoft office products: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio
• Usage of Management Tools: WSUS, HPSIM, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Nagios
• ITIL (minimum “foundation” certified)
• Good communication skills in English
