Network, Voice and Information Security Engineer

Our team of consultants specializes in four business sectors: software development, management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, security systems and ERP systems. Our mission is to provide services in information technology at the highest level, while maintaining concern for development and job satisfaction of our Consultants.
For our client – an international transport and logistics company, due to expansion on polish market we are currently seeking individuals for the position of Network, Voice and Information Security Engineer. Location: Warsaw (Łomianki)
Main accountabilities:
• Participating in the research, evaluation, planning and implementation of complex and innovative infrastructure services and solutions including network access and connectivity, systems processing, voice and data technologies, information security and internet technologies
• Leading medium complex projects
• Participating in the development of specific aspects of strategies and plans for assigned infrastructure, network-related services and solutions
• Researching and evaluating alternatives within the marketplace
• Developing recommendations and rationale to incorporate innovative and emerging technologies
• Providing 2nd line, and participates in specific aspects of 3th line network service support
• Solving problems including logging, researching and analyzing complex application and network service infrastructure
• Recommending and implementing appropriate temporary and permanent solutions that meet Client’s specific business environmental needs
The ideal candidate for this position has:
• Proficiency in English and Polish (written and spoken)
• Good presentation, advisory and persuasion skills with experience of gaining commitment to significant proposals
• Problem solving skills with experience of solving complex network voice/information security related problems
• Analytical skills
• Knowledge of IT networks within a complex business environment e.g. architecture, software, new protocols, services,
• Experience in measurement and proof-of-concept testing including complex networks
• Experience in internal and external bench-marking of network architecture, services and methodologies for complex business requirements
• Experience of vendor management relating to complex technical services and products
• Good financial judgment including knowledge of key management principles and experience of developing finance proposals and budgets
