Key responsibilities:
-Provide day-to-day, hands-on technical support of production and development SQL Server instances running on Windows Server
-Work as part of a technical support team (L2, L3) delivering a quality service to multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software product in a follow-the-sun support model.
-Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production systems.

Qualifications:
-Degree in technical subject
-Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2 on administration level and willingness to learn other database systems like Sybase ASE, Oracle, MySQL.
-Ability to work in Windows Server 2003/2008 environment. Unix/Linux systems will be an advantage
-Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment
-Good English communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work within a team and in co-operation with other teams and third parties
-Experience with Sybase Unwired Platform (SUP) and mobile products like Afaria will be an advantage
-DBA Certification will be an advantage
-Experience on similar position within multinational company will be an advantage
