SENIOR JAVA WEB DEVELOPER IN KRAKOW

Join our newly established Development Center in Krakow and become a member of our open minded, progressive and professional team. In this role you will be working on projects for one of our world famous clients. You will have a chance to grow your technical and soft skills, and build a thorough expertise of the industry of our client. Responsibilities:

• Architectural design and Development
• Refactoring, Unit and Integration testing
• Estimations, Investigations, Research
• Active participation in distributed agile process
• Work with client to determine required changes
• Work with Development team to implement required changes

Requirements:

• Must have:
- strong java skills
- web application development experience
- fluent English and excellent communication skills

• Should have:
- good javascript / jquery skills
- knowledge and experience with html / css
- knowledge and experience with sql databases and jdbc
- knowledge and/or experience with webwork framework or (related) struts framework or any other java web framework
- knowledge and/or experience with hibernate or any other ORM
- knowledge and/or experience with spring or any other IoC

• Nice to have:
- familiarity with templating engines (freemarker)
- familiarity with solr / lucene
- web based user interface design skills
- familiarity with nodejs
