Project Description:

The QA team you will be joining is responsible for testing activities across an enterprise-wide delivery in the Bank. Team members cover a variety of roles including test management and coordination, business analysis, test design and test executions. The team utilizes agile methodologies with testing occurring throughout the lifecycle, iteration by iteration with a strong emphasis on automated testing and short release cycles. The central QA management team is located in London but interact regularly with QA teams located round the globe (London, Poland, China). We are currently looking for a Non-Functional Analyst to join the QA team in Poland, QA members in Poland and London will be reporting to the QA Manager based in London.

Responsibilities:

Your role will be a Non-functional QA specialist in the Global QA team.

This role will involve:

• Performance /Load testing of the online applications ensuring that it can cope with the expected user load and throughput.
• Gathering performance and latency metrics across the application stack (client browser to the back-end database).
• Compatibility /Performance testing of the online applications on multiple sites, multiple client desktop configurations (OS, browser, plug-ins and languages).
• Reproduce performance related issues from production in performance test lab.
• Work with architects, developers and DBAs to improve performance of the current platform
• Perform other non-functional tests such as Failover, DR, Back-up and recovery.
• Using the logs, database etc., perform comprehensive analysis of any error to assist in working out the issue prior to recording in the defect tracking tool.
• Complex integration testing with multiple systems and teams around the globe.
• Navigate around multi-tiered application stacks to identify and isolate the performance bottleneck.

Requirements:
You must have good technical skills required for carrying out non-functional testing activities on a large scale enterprise application. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience to date demonstrating successful non-functional testing deliveries and has capabilities to work with Delivery Manager, QA members located globally. You should be willing to learn new tools, latest technologies and provide cost effective and robust approach for non-functional testing.
Must have:
• 5+ Years of non functional testing experience
• Excellent testing experience of the full testing lifecycle from unit testing to user acceptance testing
• Good knowledge of Performance Test Methodologies
• Proven experience performance testing complex, real-time end to end applications
• Knowledge of at least one of the following: LoadRunner (VUGen), JMeter, Gomez, SiteScope, NeoLoad etc
• Experience creating and maintaining test data for load tests (including sanitising data as appropriate).
• Ability to navigate around UNIX /Linux environments.
• Ability to analyse and report performance test results.
• Quick learner.
• Results driven – able to deliver good quality accurate solutions to tight time-scales
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Highly motivated with an eye for detail, strong communication skills and a track record of delivering successful projects into production. Nice to have:
• ISEB Software Testing Certification – Foundation /Intermediate /Practitioner
• Previous experience testing online eCommerce applications.
• Straight through processing knowledge
• Understanding of Performance and Load testing with LoadRunner experience
• Understanding on Adobe Flex,HTML5 technologies
• A good understanding of messaging protocols FLEX RTMP/RTMPS, http/https,SOAP,Tibco
• Knowledge of Unit Testing and Agile Methodologies
