Your responsibilities:
• Installation and administration of Linux Servers (Apache, Tomcat, PostgreSQL)
• Adjusting and further developing the architecture of the Live-System to match constant growth
• Administration of internal and external network infrastructures
• Documentation of the system environment and changes
• Support the the team with IT related queries
Your profile:
• Degree in IT or related field or completed equivalent traineeship
• At least 3+ years of professional experience as System Administrator
• Hands on experience with Lunix (Ubuntu, Debian) and knowledge of Windows
• Good knowledge of Bash, Perl or Python
• Expert with internet protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP)
• Knowledge of the standard Server related technologies such as Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Tomcat,
• Samba, LDAP, Exim, OpenVPN
• Ideally experience in High Availability Setups with PostgreSQL and Tomcat
• Knowledge of monitoring with Nagios
• Interest in Software Build Systems such as Jenkins, Maven and Sonar
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Team player mentality and open to new experiences and knowledge
• Fluent in English
