Position Title: Senior Drupal Portal Developer

General outline:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and operation of our enterprise Drupal portal to provide intranet and extranet capability.

Scope:

The candidate will be in charge of the Drupal portal system to support our intranet and extranet needs. The full scope of responsibility includes:

• Ability to explain and identify the required Drupal component(s) needed
• Work with business to gather requirements and suggest best solution
• Configure portal for internal and external use
• Establish Drupal best practises
• Develop portal functionality as required
• Support and monitor environment ongoing
• Mentor and develop other portal team members

Skills and competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Drupal technology
• Proven hands-on Drupal 7.x implementation/configuration
• Excellent PHP knowledge
• Ability to identify, validate and deploy required modules and distributions
• Minimum 5 years in similar portal role
• Demonstrate creative and innovative web design
• Strong people skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Strong communication skills
