For our client – a company specialized in the manufacture of components and systems for the subsea exploration of oil and gas we are looking for:

Software Engineer

Place of work: Lower Saxony

Your tasks:
• In this role, you are responsible for the designing, developing and testing of control technology software that is used in our production systems for offshore oil and gas production
• In addition, you work together with a committed team to take responsibility for the design of software components in coordination with mechanical and electrical construction design
• Furthermore, you are involved in the whole software development process, from planning to development, documentation to the preparation and monitoring of test programs

Your role:
• You have successfully completed a qualification in electrical engineering with a focus on machine control systems or control technology or similar
• Ideally, you have already acquired some practical experience as a programmer and have good knowledge of C++, Linux, PLC/SPS programming (e.g. Siemens, GE Fanuc, Allen Bradley) and SCADA system
• You impress through your commitment, self-motivation and a structured and independent way of working. You also have an excellent command of English and are willing to travel on occassional business trips
