Job specification:
• Responsible for Linux systems administration
• Enterprise Monitoring and Reporting
• Designing, maintaining, and operating fault tolerant and highly available servers
• Responsible for development automationwith Puppet, Chef, CFengine
Requirements:
• Computer Science background
• Experience in Linux systems administration
• Experience in database with T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB
• Good knowledge of some of programming languages (BAT, PowerShell, Bash, Python, PHP, Java)
• Understanding of common open source packages providing core functionality for technologies such as DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, NTP, SSH, SMTP, SMB, NFS, FTP, and basic networking services
Good to have:
• Knowledge of logging and Collection tools for data analytics (Graphite, Munin, collectd, logstash)
• Knowledge of Systems Monitoring and Availability (SCOM, Zennos, Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti, or similar monitoring tools)
• Experience with some cloud based platforms (Amazon EC2, Rackspace OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
• Technical documentation skills using software such as Visio, Microsoft Office, and Camtasia Studio
