Location: Krakow (Poland)
The ideal candidate demonstrates an aptitude and appetite for learning new technologies, and applying this to solve customer issues remotely, and to drive customer satisfaction. Relationships:
• Reports to a CMS manager.
• Builds strong team relationships with other CMS Engineers. She/he enjoys sharing knowledge. Effectively troubleshoots problems both alone and as part of a team, depending on the nature of the incident.
Deliverables:

• Provide broad triage support within Datacenter solutions including both: hardware, applications, and OS phone support. Solutions include Flexpod, vBlock, SAP/Hana, VDI, ACI, SDN, OpenStack, vmware, Citrix
• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations requires in-depth evaluation of factors.
• Provide systems/product support and training to customers, and contribute towards building a knowledge base to help customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance leadership to less experienced engineers.
• Act as a focal point for high impact, large account problem resolution.
• Act as a technical expert and provide support on a European and world-wide basis
• Interfaces with VARs, OEMs, end-users, and internal engineering departments to drive quality into the product.
• Receive minimal supervision, no instruction on routine work, and general instruction on new assignments. Travel / Shifts:
• Occasional travel to customer may be required
• The job holders will work to European office hours (morning and evening shifts) Technical Skills:
• Broad technical knowledge of the data center and the infrastructure pillars: SAN, Network and Server
• Architectural knowledge of virtualization tools and concepts
• Deep understanding of desktop virtualization (protocols, products,…) (VmWare View Composer, Flex/Linked Clone)
• Unix, Linux and Microsoft experienced (RHCE, MSCE,… is a plus)

Industry or Sector Experience:
• Prior experience in a technical support capacity (advantageous).
• Prior experience of high-level technical problem solving (essential)
Education:
• Bachelors/Master in Computer Studies or Engineering or equivalent (essential)
