Location: Krakow (Poland)
The ideal candidate demonstrates an aptitude and appetite for learning new technologies, and applying this to solve customer issues remotely, and to drive customer satisfaction. Relationships:
• Reports to a CMS manager.
• Builds strong team relationships with other CMS Engineers. She/he enjoys sharing knowledge.
Deliverables:
This is a great opportunity for someone with patience and an empathetic view of the customer to hone their skills and advance their career providing value to customers while working with an industry leader in technology.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop documentation (design and implementation guides, assurance guides, technical papers) according to the Documentation Plan and Project Schedule
• Edit documentation content produced by engineering teams
• Improve the depth and quality of the documentation set based on feedback from internal and external customers (reviewers, project managers, and field users)
• Act as support resource for primary team project initiatives
• Participate in all aspects of documentation development from planning through release
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to identify and manage documentation needs from design specifications and feature demos
• Meet deadlines and manage deliverables in a sometimes fast-paced environment
• Utilize Wiki-based authoring and Web-based publication tools to develop documentation
• Train and support users in using authoring and publication tools
• Troubleshoot user tool errors
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Cisco system-level Web presence and make decisions about authoring tools Travel / Shifts:
• No travel to customer would be required
• The job holders will work to European office business hours Profile and Skills:
• Familiarity with authoring tools such as Wikis, document repositories, and Word
• Ability to move adeptly between different team environments
• Ability to manage work independently and be self-motivated
• Ability to assess documentation development needs and suggest faster or more useful approaches to organizing the document or using the WAT to creating the document.
• Ability to ask intelligent questions to obtain information that system teams do not explicitly share

Education:
• Bachelors/Master in Computer Studies or Engineering or equivalent (preffered)
