Description
- Actively participating in all major stages of software development lifecycle, e.g. requirements definition, research, implementation, validation, post-release support activities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clearly understand business objectives, customer needs, and product requirements.
- Research new technologies that push the boundaries and capabilities of design and provide insight on applying these to created product.
- Creating and maintaining software design documentation
- Implementing, unit testing and debugging software according to specifications and conforming to the coding standards
- Participation in code review, code analysis, requirements analysis, risk analysis, code profiling and tuning
- Utilization of effective project management skills to plan, reach milestones, and reduce risk by identifying problems, developing solutions scoping, and estimating tasks
- Performing majority of tasks in an efficient manner with no assistance from the supervisor
- Occasionally travelling to and assisting the customers or other Intel teams located across the globe

Qualifications
- Strong coding skills in Python with emphasis on writing modular, scalable code.
2+ years developing SaaS or IaaS cloud platform software for virtualization, provisioning, network storage, or similar server technology.
- KVM, VMware ESX, Xen server, or Hyper-V operation and management
- Opensource experience. Open Source contribution to Xen, KVM, Linux or OpenStack
- Expert knowledge of structural programming / OOP. – Programming Language: C, C++, Bash Scripting
- Knowledge of, and experience with, Agile methodologies and test driven development
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud technology
- Security awareness and basic knowledge of encryption algorithms
- Familiarity with structured QA techniques
- Strong problem solving skills
- Fluency in English
