On behalf of our customer- the global leader in data recovery- we are looking for Systems Administrator to join the team in Katowice.
Job specification:
• Providing desktop/server/storage/network/SAN support to company’s internal technology users and assisting clients with application issues
• Assisting in the day to day management of company’s server, storage and backup systems
• Installing, configuring and administering server and backup systems
• Participating in regular system patching and maintenance schedules
• Ensuring that all technical and user documentation is kept up-to-date and to agreed standards
• Participating in IT projects, releases and new technology rollouts
Requirements:
• Higher education in a technology- related field
• Experience of working in an ITIL best practice environment with familiarity with Change, Incident and Problem Management
• Knowledge and experience with Windows 2003/2008/2012, Active Directory, VMware vSphere 4.1/5.1, backup technologies, systems monitoring and HP Servers/Blades
• Experience of support in a 24 × 7 production environment
• Proven desktop and system administration support skills
• Knowledge of network technologies, troubleshooting and SAN implementations
Nice to have:
• Accreditations such as ITIL V3, MCSE, CCNA and/or VCP together with previous project management experience
• Experience in Linux, Altiris, ESXTOP and Powershell Cli
