Job description
Candidate will be responsible for designing, administrating, enhancing, managing, testing/analyzing and maintaining Microsoft SQL database solutions and applications for various Capgemini Polska clients, both remotely and on-site in other countries. Solutions may include small to large environments.
Candidate’s profile
• At least 3 years of experience on similar position
• University degree
• Fluent English
• Deep understanding of Relational and Transact Database solutions, especially Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014 (backed up with experience) – building database solutions and infrastructure, day to day administration and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server databases, backup solutions and methods, database high availability and failover (clustering, replication)
• Good knowledge of SQL and T-SQL language
• Very good knowledge of Windows Server (2003 – 2012 R2) environments
• Ability to travel and work abroad
• Experience and comfort in working within international environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with other database solutions (IBM DB2, Oracle)
• Microsoft certifications achieved
• Experienced with UNIX or Linux (RHEL) operating systems
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, VBS or similar)
