Capgemini Infrastructure Services is one of the biggest outsourcing service providers in Poland. IS has achieved great success and grown rapidly since the establishment of our first service center in Krakow in 2004. In 2006, we opened a second center in Katowice and in 2012 a third center in Opole. Today, our team of 2,000 professionals delivers IT outsourcing services to 40 clients in 20 languages.

Job description

• Ensure smooth operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability
• Evaluate, upgrade and support network infrastructure (patch and maintenance)
• Design and resolve complex problems
• Monitor and analyze network traffic
• Develop and upgrade existing network documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Telecommunication, etc)
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals
• Solid experience with LAN (switching, routing, redundancy protocols, etc)
• Experience with WAN solutions
• At least 3 years of managing large scale network
• 5 years IT network infrastructure delivery experience
• Familiar with IPS/IDS networking solutions
• Working knowledge of firewall and security tools and architecture
• Very good troubleshooting skills and problem solving abilities
• Knowledge about monitoring tools
• Network certification on professional level in any of paths offered by Cisco (CCNP or CCSP preferred)
• ITIL foundation is a plus
• English – very good written and oral communication skills
