We are looking for a Backend Developer who cares deeply about high performance and scalable web applications, eager to dive deep into Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes.

Requirements:
• Proficiency in PHP, at least one PHP framework (e.g. Laravel), writing tests, designing and optimisation of MySQL databases.
• Minimum basic knowledge of server configuration for web apps.
• Experience working with version control systems (Git).
• Interest in creating highly efficient development workflows, automation and testing.

Extra points for:
• Basic understanding of client-side technologies: HTML and JavaScript.
• Experience in creating and working with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with web services optimisation, scaling, performance, and security.
• Agile methodologies.
• Experience with technologies like Memcached, apc, php-fpm.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with Automated build systems, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery.
• Scripting languages, e.g. Bash, Python.
• Experience with JAVA.
