We provide data analytics to Fortune 500 clients all over Europe & the US. Being a consulting firm, our most important asset are creative, proactive people just like the Business Intelligence Engineer (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) we are currently looking for on a freelance or full-time basis for our Poznan office.
You will work with a young team on building DWH & Online reporting systems for our clients. This involves understanding client data & client requirements and transforming them into truly intuitive applications. You should be both: a technically oriented person, that has extensive experience using SQL Server BI components; but also a businessoriented person that is keen on developing understanding of their business context.
Must have prerequisites:
Completed masters degree (preferably Management Information Systems or
similar but other courses welcome) with above average performance
>=3 years experience in design, development and maintenance of OLAPManagement nformation Systems based on MS SQL-Server BI components
Important: Experience in building and managing of relational SQL Server systems is NOT sufficient – practical SSIS experience is absolute key!
Proven experience in quickly understanding unknown source data structures
Advanced knowledge in programming with Microsoft SQL, VB.net and MDX
Fluent in spoken and written English
Nice to have (candidates meeting one ore more of these criteria will be preferred):
Practical experience in building OLAP-systems in the Telecom industry
Practical experience in building reporting systems that monitor trouble tickets (e.g. field service, call center, bug reporting)
Holders of relevant Microsoft certificates (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
At least working knowledge of German
