For our Client, one of the world’s largest providers of employment screening services, specializes in helping organizations of all sizes and locations efficiently implement, manage and control their screening programs.
We are looking for Telecommunications Engineer

Job specification:
• Review, evaluate and repair telecommunications systems failures to ensure prompt resolution and minimal disruption to service
• Interact with general business users to define requirements and expectations of new and existing telecommunications systems
• Support and maintain complex telecom environment for areas of focus include but are not limited to: voice systems administration, performance monitoring, troubleshooting production issues, moves, adds, and changes
• Interfaces with vendors and projects managers for business initiative delivery.
• Participate and drive post-mortem investigations related to all Severity 1 incidents and problems.
• Upgrade Telecommunications hardware and software components
• Identify and validate if corrective action is applicable to prevent future occurrences of the incident.
• Create and maintain proper documentation of policies, procedures and technical papers
• Independently works to accomplish general tasks and projects with little direct supervision
• Manage carriers that provide telecom and VoIP services to ensure their services meet client requirements.
• To help build up the technical documentation library on all aspects of specific responsibility
• To solve support requests that may have been escalated by the Service Desk
• To assist with the development of services, functions and processes to improve the quality of IT service

Requirements:
AVAYA Communications Manager, CMS and Experience Portal experience a must, ideally ACSS certified
• Solid knowledge of voice or data communications technology normally attained through a minimum of six years in communications assignments, including three years in project lead assignments required
• Experience with call accounting software and reporting.
• Experience with Call Recording solutions
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, engineering or a mathematics-intensive discipline or an applicable training certificate from an accredited training institution
• 5 – 7 years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in telecom call center systems and network management design, implementation and support
• High-end experience in PBX and/or Call Center systems engineering experience is a plus
• Ability to lead and report in a formal and structured method
• Ability to produce clear and accurate technical documentation and train/hand-off design and implementation work
