For our Client, leading provider of powerful, enterprise big data analytics and services including Data Driven Marketing, Data Warehousing, BI and CRM, we are looking for the aforementioned specialist who is willing to develop in an international environment.

Job specification:
• This position is for a Hadoop developer who specializes in Big Data (Hadoop/MapReduce)
• The key competency required for this position is development of Hadoop/MapReduce applications

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following Service Architecture Tools is preferred
o J2EE, .net (networking, physical design, performance, programming)
o Application Servers JBOSS, Weblogic, Websphere
o Web Servers Apache, Tomcat
• 3-5 years of applications development and architecture utilizing the following
o Java, C, C , C#, Perl, PHP, Python, Linux/UNIX, shell, SQL, HTML, etc.
o 1 year of experience in Hadoop Data Ingestion tools and utilities
• Experience in Basic SQL/shell scripting

Nice to have experience:
• Experience on Hadoop/MapReduce( programming experience with MapReduce/HDFS/Pig/Hive/Hbase is desirable)
• Experience in working on one of the Hadoop distributions (Hortonworks, Cloudera or MapR)
• Big Data/Hadoop implementation
• Exposure on NoSQL platforms (e.g. key-value stores, graph databases, RDF triple stores) and MPP Databases (Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, Aster Data, Vertica)
