For our Client, who is a global leading company in the area of enterprise application software solutions, we are looking for Server and Storage Engineer.

Job specification:
• Participating in the design, implementation, optimization, advance support and administration of computing infrastructure
• Overseeing system performance, plan system capacity
• Ensuring processes are well-documented, sustainable and scalable
• Assessing processes for improvements
• Developing and driving adoption of standards in the Data Center Environment
• Designing, implementing and advanced supporting of physical and virtual computing infrastructure running in these data centers, including servers, storage, operating systems, data backup and other related technology centralized in corporate data centers or in smaller locations throughout the world
• Maintaining and ensuring maximum sustained performance and availability of the company’s data center systems
• Maximizing infrastructure capacities through proactive review and planning to ensure that IT capacity meet current and future business requirements
• Establishing performance monitoring and alerting standards to ensure IT meets service level requirements
• Driving a cross functional team (including equipment or service vendors) in diagnosing issues and initiating appropriate actions for repair or mitigation and provide appropriate status, communications and root cause analysis to management
• Serving as technical lead for escalation of advanced incidents, problems and change management
• Helping develop policies and procedures related to IT Operations Infrastructure
• Researching infrastructure solutions to identify and improve existing processes or enhance overall productivity
• Leading teams in major projects and implementations, including project leadership, task assignments, and day-to-day direction
• Participating in an on-call rotation as required
• Travelling to regional and global data centers and installing equipment into racks or removing equipment from racks as needed

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience preferred, but not required
• At least 5 years of experience supporting Data Centers in a large multisite (preferably global) enterprise network
• Demonstrated experience in design, deployment, administration, configuration, and integration of data center technologies
• At least 5 years of experience in Enterprise Storage Systems (EMC VNX preferred)
• Extensive experience with hardware monitoring solutions (HP SIM, Dell OpenManage)
• At least 3 years of experience with VMware & virtualization technologies
• Experience and familiarity with Cloud services and solutions would be advantage
• Comprehensive knowledge of network technologies and solutions (IP, DNS, DMZ, Proxy, Firewall, Routing, Switching, etc.)
• Advanced support and administration of Windows Server and Redhat Linux systems
• Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology advancements
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills is a MUST
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Keen attention to detail
• Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
• Established organizational abilities
