We are looking for a talented new colleague to our development team. You will be working with larger single-page applications in the form of complex and challenging development for the browser across many devices.
We have over 20 million visitors every month – making sure they have the optimal experience requires skills and dedication.
Who Are You?
You love working with
JavaScript, HTML & CSS
LESS, Sass or similar
Standards-compliance and cross-browser compatibility
A web application framework (Backbone.js, KnockoutJS, AngularJS, Ember.js or similar)
Version control – preferably GIT
Browser debugging (breakpoints, profiling, etc.)
Things You Might Do
Build new functionality (or extend existing)
Actively participate in planning of new functionality, design, and architectural changes
Optimize performance for individual browsers and devices
Code review for your colleagues
Help our support department when functionality we created does not work

Work on larger assignments and ship these into production

Our workflow
We communicate using mostly Slack
Issues/Bugs/Tasks are organized using Jira (and sometimes Trello)
We do code review using Pull Requests in Bitbucket
Support tickets are handled using Help Scout
Every Monday we do weekly Sprint kick off

Extend Google Tag Manager integration to support Constants
Track Microsoft Edge correctly
Animations should not be “jumpy” when navigating quickly
Popup video should support external source
Page elements should not be clickable after FadeOut animation
Implement Ken Burns animation
Update jQuery version and remove jQuery migrate
