Job description
SCOM Management Packs configuration and modifications
Assisting with execution of projects related to monitoring infrastructure
Continuing self development on emerging technologies related to areas of responsibility
Designing and implementing new solutions
Developing and maintaining existing documentation
Providing subject matter expertise on performance optimization and configuration best practices for Microsoft Systems (SQL knowledge would be additional advantage)
Identifying, researching and resolving technical issues associated to monitoring systems
Providing training to other team members
Ongoing administration and maintenance of System Center Operations Manager infrastructure for a large environment
Candidate’s profile
Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
Self motivation and able to work within a team or autonomous
Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Requirements
Essential:
At least 2 years of professional experience with designing and managing SCOM environments
Experience in managing Enterprise class environments
Experience in creating and modification of SCOM Management Packs
Nice to have:
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWare preferred)
Linux systems administration
