For our client – the international company, specialized in the field of data security and information management we are currently seeking individuals for the position of Technical Support Engineer

Job specification:
• Providing technical support to customers, field engineers and resellers
• Participating in management conference call escalations as needed
• Providing issue resolution for BCS Advanced access customers
• Participating in new product releases and beta cycles to ensure information and training requirements are met to support new products
• Research a wide variety of technical subjects including operating systems, software, security and third party applications
• Using professional concepts, company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems
• Gathering relevant information about customer environments, so they can be efficiently advanced to next level engineers
• Defining and track bugs for Development, and offer innovative ideas to improve product quality
• Providing on-call support for 24×7/Follow the Sun
• Occasional on-site work at customer locations

Requirements:
• Fluency in English and German/French/Italian/Spanish/Russian
• Customer support experience
• 3+ years of working knowledge and experience in troubleshooting applications and platform faults in Enterprise environments
• Hands On Experience Across operating systems such as Windows Server/Client and Linux and Enterprise Level Infrastructure Technology: Active Directory, Domain Name System, DHCP
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, Packet Switching, Routing, Network Topologies and Security
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills with experience of effectively interacting with other teams and cultures
• Working knowledge of firewalls, Intrusion Detection System Brands & technologies, Packet sniffers and Vulnerability Network Scanners
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V and Windows Exchange and/or other Mail systems
• Working knowledge of Relational Database principles and methodologies (Oracle)
• MCSA, MCSE, CCNA or CompTIA Security+ relevant industry certifications will be a plus.
