Job Description
Network/Security Team is a part of Network, Data Center and Communication Services organization (NDCS). The primary purpose of the Network Architect is to provide advanced technical support on network and security appliances.
Main duties consist of:
- Maintenance and development of detailed designs within the Cloud Network environment,
- Develop, support and implement architecture roadmaps and high level designs for the Cloud Network environment,
- Contribute in multi disciplinary Cloud development teams for E2E optimization of the Cloud infrastructure,
- Drive, check and accompany major changes on Network products that are part of the Cloud,
- Provide technical 2nd/3rd line support with complex incidents and / or problems to the operation,
- Removes obstacles within the service delivery and creation; maintains a view on the bigger picture, even in very complex situations, evaluating interim results and their effect on achieving overall goals,
- Contribute in Cloud customers implemenations and transitions projects,
- Manages seamless handover of the service creation outputs (TOS) that are accepted by the Factory delivery organization,
- Drive technology standardization in new and existing environments,
- Continuously assess the Cloud Network landscape, start improvement proposals (for all landscape components on both effectiveness and efficiency) and manage initiatives to completion,
- Execute Life Cycle Management for Cloud Network infrastructure components,
- Assess compliance to service standards and start actions to mitigate risks in case of deviations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- basic administrative knowledge of servers and/or database and/or systems and/or network
- experience in similar position
General skills
- Typically educated on university level (e.g. Bachelor or Master). Otherwise, may hold a relevant professional qualification.
- Preferably holds profesional qualifications and certifications: Cisco, F5/Jupiter and others
- Business fluent in the English language.
- Prior experience working at an international level is prefered
- Has a proven track record and demonstrates understanding of enterprise Network architecture related to virtual and cloud infrastructure environments.
- Expert in enterprise datacenter / Clour Networking & Security.
- Is familiar with enterprise environments with the following building blocks; Network design, DMZ, Security, Network (Foundry, Cisco), Firewalls (Juniper)
- Familiar with International ICT Standards. Examples: ITIL, PRINCE2, SOx and ISO 27001
- Is familiar with Turn Over to Service (TOS) and Turn over to Production (TOP) processes and procedures.
Languages:
- EN spoken and written on intermediate level
- TOEIC certification would be a plus
