NETWORK ENGINEER WITH ENTERASYS
Job Description
Network/Security Team is a part of Network, Data Center and Communication Services organization (NDCS). The primary purpose of the Network/Security Engineer is to provide advanced technical support on network and security appliances.
Main duties consist of:
- performing advanced diagnosis on incidents
- implementing non-standard changes to the environment
- communicating and consulting with internal and external technical counterparts
- management of system performance, capacity, service quality
- participation in and execution of projects
- designing and implementing network and security systems (senior positions)
- supporting bid management with technical expertise (senior positions)
Job Requirements
Network engineer with Enterasys
General skills:
- Ability to work well within a team
- Methodical and disciplined approach to work
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to structure and draft technical documentation
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience in working with customers
Languages:
- EN and/or DE and/or FR
- spoken and written on intermediate level
- TOEIC certification would be a plus
- Skills and competencies in (one or more)
Network appliances:
- access points,
- switches,
- routers,
- load balancers
- traffic optimizers
- hardware technologies,
- operation systems
Additional Advantages:
1. Knowledge or experience in (one or more):
- Cisco, H3C, 3Com, HP, Nortel, Avaya, Brocade, Riverbed network solutions
- load balancing and WAN optimization solutions
- management network tools
Preferred certifications or equivalent knowledge (one or more):
- CCNA
- CCNP
- CCIE*
- RCSA (Riverbed)
- RCSP (Riverbed)
- F5-CA
- F5-CTS
Professional experience: 2 – 5 years*
Working hours:
- 5×10 business hours shifts
- Stand-by duty for given services
- Travels abroad to support client on-site if needed
