Yggdrasil Gaming is looking for a DevOps Engineer based in our fast-growing technology centre in Krakow, Poland. Working with our teams in Development and Operations, you will bridge the gap between Development and SysAdmin, setting up and monitoring Yggdrasil’s development and staging environments to be secure, robust, and highly available. Collaborating with teams across the business, you have the chance make a great impact in production times and processes.

Working with a small but high performing DevOps team in a high performing games development studio, you will quickly take on significant responsibility and influence within the team. In a position that is multi-functional by nature, You may have come from either a development or a SysAdmin background, with a strong appreciation and experience in both disciplines.

Responsibilities
- administration of Linux servers
- administration of Java application servers
- helping development team with delivering packages up to the production systems
- take ownership of build servers and deployment tools
- taking care of technical issues (3rd line of support)

Key Skills
- minimum 3+ years in similar position
- excellent knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Centos, RHEL)
- very good knowledge of services such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, Jboss
- very good knowledge of automation and build tools (ansible, chef, jenkins, artifactory)
- writing scripts to help automation tools
- knowledge of monitoring tools (Sensu, Icinga, etc…)
- good written and spoken English
- experience with designing and implementing Linux containers environments (Docker, CoreOS, fleet, etc)
- experience with Jira and Confluence

Nice to have
- experience with virtualization (Cloud Stack, Open Stack, VMware, KVM)
- knowledge of load balancers (HAproxy, F5)
- knowledge of LAN / WAN technology (vlans, vpn, routing, firewalls)
