Department Description :

The Base Station Software department, part of Motorola Solutions Polska, is looking for motivated team players to join our team. Motorola Solutions is a global leader in mission-critical communication products, services and solutions; serves more than 100,000 public safety and commercial customers in more than 100 countries. Our wide-ranging product portfolio has the tools you need to get the job done in any business.
We are responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, testing and maintaining products for various public safety telecomunication technologies. We are divided into self-organizing teams, working in Agile environment using SAFe scale agile framework. Our products are developed mainly in C++ and C on several software architecture layers, including those close to hardware, as well as on higher levels of abstraction.

Responsibilities:

Work with Product Management and other stakeholders—including other Product Owners—to define and prioritize Stories in the Team Backlog.
Coordinates with other Product Owners content dependencies and work distribution.
Has the primary responsibility for building, pruning, and maintaining the team backlog.
The PO is the only team member who can accept stories as done. While any team member can write stories and acceptance criteria, the Product Owner has the primary responsibility for keeping the process flowing
As a people manager has personal responsibility for the coaching and career development of direct reports, takes responsibility for eliminating impediments, and actively evolves the systems in which all knowledge workers operate. Have final accountability for effective value delivery.
Manages 2 scrum teams (14 -16 engineers)

Basic Requirements :

Specific skills:

BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Software Engineering or similar
Proven experience as people / project manager – at least 3 years
Excellent communication skills
Ability to identify road blocks and drive the team to resolution
Ability to lead the team’s efforts in relentless improvement
Knowledge of XP practices
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development practices

Preferred skills:
Experience in Scaled Agile environment
