Your role
Are you an expert in IT risk assessment? Do you have the know-how for analyzing IT systems and processes and advising on security solutions? We’re looking for someone like that to help us to:
• perform IT risk assessments on operational technologies as well as new and emerging innovations (blockchains, artificial intelligence, robotics solutions)
• analyze threats, weaknesses and exploitation scenarios against the critical assets of UBS
• advising the project teams on the risk and security relevant design decisions
• discover all relevant control related information to sign off on the design and control effectiveness of IT controls
• report on operational risk items to senior management
• ensure that UBS Technology operates as documented in our Operational Risk Framework
• stay up on regulatory requirements and latest industry trends and good practices
• ensure that UBS framework is up to date with the latest developments of the industry
• establish and maintain an effective risk culture
Your team
You’ll be working in our Technology Risk Management team. We’re a global team responsible for IT risk management, risk remediation, and ensuring IT controls are designed and operating effectively for the UBS Technology organization
Your experience and skills
• IT Security experience preferably in the financial services industry
• strong analytical skills with a technical background
• excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• background in system development, architecture, business analysis or compliance, risk control and audit will be additional asset
• an understanding of operational risk management
You are:
• a great communicator (and you know how to handle challenging situations)
• a flexible, resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward
• able to multitask and work on different projects in parallel
• methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail
• technologist able to surface and address issues, control deficiencies and emerging risks

• confident in dealing with colleagues at all levels, in multiple locations
• fluent English
