Our Franklin Templeton development team is full of talented and deeply knowledgeable developers who love their craft. The team you’ll be joining is an agile and self-organized group focused on solving challenging front-end problems for our corporate websites.

You will work as part of a team to design and build conceptual prototypes and production ready user interfaces that use best practice techniques and provide an enjoyable digital experience. You will participate in all facets of the System Development Life Cycle, perform analysis, design requirements, perform unit and integration testing, work with users on UAT, and implement solutions, document systems and train users.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Front-end Developer?

• Develop new internal/external UI solutions that are clean, efficient, maintainable and extendable HTML, CSS and JS.
• Perform code reviews and conduct functional testing to ensure standards are understood and followed.
• Create and maintain a library of common US modules components and tools.
• Collaborate between the UX designer and the development to deliver seamless UI interface.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

• 5 years minimum experience within UI industry
• Aurelia or similar JavaScript library experience
• Redux, SASS, GRUNT
• HTML5, CSS3
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with all levels of users including non-technical managers, and application developers.
• Ability to create detailed specifications based on business user requirements.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment
