User Interface Developer
Develop elegant, intuitive user interfaces that deliver a fantastic experience for world-class brands

We’re looking for…
An inventive UID who can take responsibility for creating smooth, user-friendly web interfaces for a wide range of clients. You’ll be an expert in current web technologies – (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc – and keen to develop your own specialisms within our team.

What’s the role?
Working closely with our designers, information architects and technology specialists, you’ll build web pages and applications for public-sector organisations, blue-chip corporate clients and world-famous brands. You’ll use your development skills and knowledge of accessibility and browser testing to ensure that every user has a great experience on the sites we design.

You are someone who…
• Can create stunning user-friendly interfaces tailored to each client’s needs
• Can develop and debug code and test browsers and accessibility technologies in your sleep
• Can give accurate estimates of the scale, complexity and timelines of the job ahead
• Is keen to develop your skills and learn from experts in design, technology and information architecture
• Is organised and on the ball – and particularly good at version control

Boxes to tick
• Proven excellence in creating accessible, intuitive and bug-free user interfaces
• At least 3 years’ UID experience in a commercial agency
• Awareness of design production
• Ability to develop (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including AJAX)
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks
• Complete understanding of accessible web content and assistive technologies
