Looking for a young but motivated Web Design Geek (3 – 4 days per week in a nice office just a bit outside of Gdansk… but worth the ride… believe it….)

To be fully responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of several e-commerce websites, including all aspects of front and backend.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To design all aspects of Web sites and online shops incl. forms, admin panels, newsletters, banners, startpages etc. etc. and ensure that they are visually effective and easy to access, usability is key with focus on lean design.
• Liaising closely with the programmers and client at the design stage to answer questions (no programming skills needed, no strong language skills needed).
• Designing drafts and wireframes for client approval or modification.
• Testing the web sites for functionality and design with responsability to deliver as designed in the concept phase with high focus on quality.
• Constantly modify and improve designs according to newest trends and market requirements.

Skills / Attributes Required

• A strong online portfolio displaying user-centred design.
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator.
• In depth knowledge and interest of current web-design trends and techniques.
• A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have (not mandatory)

• Knowledge of designing online marketing campaigns
• Knowledge of SEO concepts
• Knowledge of Google Analytics
• Knowldedge of template design
