Merchenta builds sophisticated technology platforms that intelligently engage consumers with the right merchandise at the right time – across social, affiliate and display networks.

Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting Java developers, with the following skills :

- Core Java in a no-J2EE setting
- Java frameworks, such as Spring, Hibernate
- RESTful web services
- XML/JAXB/JAXP
- SQL
- Scala (helpful, though not essential)

The ideal candidates will be a motivated, self-starter with a passion for software engineering with excellent attention to detail, commitment to quality and a passion for clear, concise code.

The following skills are helpful, but not essential :

- an awareness of machine learning approaches including genetic algorithms/evolutionary programming/collaborative filtering
- (ideally, though not essential) analytical and/or statistical/mathematics skills

These roles are available based in Poland on a telecommuting/remote working basis.
