As an IT administrator, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT network, servers and security systems. This role is absolutely essential within our organisation to ensure business continuity – you’ll be responsible for investigating and diagnosing network problems, collecting IT usage stats, making recommendations for improving the company’s IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.

Essential Position Responsibilities:
• Ensure maximum availability and efficiency of the LAN and WAN in a client server architecture for several locations and systems
• Perform and/or oversee Hardware and Software requirements of the businesses
• Manage, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot LANWAN including firewall, remote access, anti-virus, patching, etc.,
• Set-up of all types of hardware (Servers, PCs, printers etc.)
• Installation and upgrades of all company software
• Break-fix of both server and desktop hardware and software
• Provide one-on-one assistance for all internal and external end-users
 Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Telephony system
 Maintain site licenses for department/organization
 Evaluate and recommend purchase of hardware, peripherals and software
 Liaise and supervise with external clients and IT related service providers
 Ensure compliances with local and corporate IT guidelines
 Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures
• Travel to regional offices to provide on-site assistance

Essential Position Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar role for a large organization
• Proven experience of Windows server technology and networking (computer network system protocols, network management practices and procedures)
• Prior experience in supporting, implementing and/or administering networks such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory
• Good knowledge of IP addressing and TCP/IP networking
• Extensive knowledge of operating systems, software packages, and software utilities; proper records maintenance and storage for local and distributed environments
• Certifications: ITIL , CISCO
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• High standard of ethics, very good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education:
• Master’s degree in the related field, preferably Computer Science or Engineering
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
