iOS Application Developer
Contract: 3 month trial, 12 months of work available
Location: Remote
Radiant Mobile Applications LLC is looking for a full-time off-site iOS application developer.
As an iOS application developer, you will be a member of a remote team responsible for designing and programming various aspects of iPad applications related to farm technology in the United States. The focus of your work will be primarily on the application framework (general application infrastructure, UI, networking, sql database, general application infrastructure) and require a solid understanding of objective-C and general iOS development for the iPad.
You will experience all areas of software development including architecture design, programming, release, and future updates. A strong independent work ethic is required as well as strong “remote” communication skills (daily skype interaction, emails, etc). It is also expected you are available to meet for some time each month in person with the development lead during visits to Poland.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Application and feature conceptulalization and planning
- iOS application architecture & design
- iOS application programming
- Independent testing of programmed features
- Bug fixes and implementation of future features and enhancements
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid experience in Objective-C language, and iOS application development
- Proficient in: Cocoa Touch framework, SQL, networking / socketrocket experience is a bonus
- Very strong OOP and design pattern knowledge
- Experience in using version control systems and work item tracking (git and JIRA preferred but not required)
- At least 3 years of experience in programming and shipping applications on the iOS platform
- Good English, both written and spoken
