Job Description

We are looking for an Engineer to a Mobile Applications support team who will be responsible for:

-providing technical support to partners and/or customers for company technologies, products, and/or solutions (2nd or 3rd line of support – depends on qualifications)
-resolving moderately to highly complex technical problems, depending on the customers’ need
-simulating technical problems in lab environmen
-sharing your knowledge with other people in writing technical documents and enlarge the knowledge database
-providing internal and/or external technical presentations (cross-training)
-escalating some specific problems to the responsible Business Units for product enhancement
-working closely with his colleagues to achieve common goals
-striving to technical excellence and expertise

Requirements
-good Linux sysadmin and troubleshooting skills: shell scripting, user permissions, file systems, disk -space & memory management, log file location, performance and analysis
-good knowledge and experience with databases and database clustering: preferably MongoDB, any -other database experience is desirable
-general networking knowledge
-fluent English

Advantageous:

-basic experience with customer portals and Web Interfaces in WiFi environment
-experience with java programs, installation and troubleshooting
-knowledge of SP Mobility Architecture
-experience with Monitoring tools: snmp, northbound interface, Linux monitoring, …
-experience with WiFi architectures (Radius) and devices (Cisco Asr1000, ISG, WLC, APs)
-experience with Mobile architectures (3GPP, GGSN, Gx interface, OCS) and devices (e.g. Asr5k)
-Cisco UCS, VMWare and virtualization knowledge
