About the Job
Are you willing to work in an international environment with worldwide software roll-outs and daily technical challenges? Do you like flexibility, flat hierarchies and highly-motivated colleagues and think you will benefit from our highly-regarded IT team? We are looking for an ambitious Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to drive our projects in Berlin and lead the development and enhancement of an international career portal. You will be working closely with your team and assist with the preparation of test plans as well as the testing of software in line with company guidelines and standards.
About You
After earning your Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or obtaining an equivalent professional education, you have gained a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing with Web-based Software Product Assurance. You have also gained deep knowledge dealing with software life cycle, with a focus on Software as a Service platform.
You like to and can easily coordinate with the development team and the Product Manager, as well as providing feedback directly to the team. You are passionate about the quality and can ensure that all work is performed in a time-sensitive manner and in accordance with specific quality guidelines. You are proficient in automated testing techniques and continuous integration as well as with Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, xUnit, Testlink, Jira, PHP, XML, HTML & XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Ruby and have professional experience in using systems like GIT and SVN and have working experience with the Agile, KANBAN and/or SCRUM are a considerable advantage. Your ISTQB certification is a plus. While doing all this, you demonstrate flexibility and excellent communication skills and are fluent in the English.
