Currently for our client in Krakow we are searching for an IT Service Desk Operator.
Job specification:
• Acting as a single point of contact for all ICT related matters for the European and Asian offices
• Responding to incoming calls and emails
• Registering, classifying and prioritizing incidents
• Investigating, diagnosing and providing initial support
• Managing, monitoring and tracking incidents, coordinating the communication and escalating to different groups
• Advising user of steps which could be taken to avoid same problem occurring again
• Providing solution and document Work-arounds (RASCI, WIKI, etc.)
• Managing CMDB (asset management)
• Driving Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Providing on-site assistance for the Krakow office
• Coordinating central staging and distribution of IT equipment (TC’s, Notebooks, PC’s)
Requirements:
• Passion about IT, an IT-related degree or relevant working experience
• Experience in some of the following areas: MS Windows, Exchange 2010, RES Workspace Manager, MS Office, Citrix Xenapp, SCCM, Lync, Printing, Active Directory (DHCP-DNS-NTFS), LAN-WAN, End-user Hardware (Desktop, Laptop, Thin Client, Printers), etc.
• Good knowledge of ITIL
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Knowledge of German or Dutch would be a plus
• Great communication skills and customer and service oriented attitude
