Your role

We’re looking for an Agile developer like that who can:

- collaborate to refine stakeholder requirements through Test Driven Development
- meet the high expectations of clients through frequent release cycles of quality software
- work with Business Analysts to analyze and convert complex business requirements into simple and maintainable technical solutions
- cover all aspect of software delivery from design, implementation to automated acceptance testing and release into production
- drive quality of the system by delivering clean new code and constantly improving existing code through refactoring.

Your team
You’ll be working as part of the Trade Capture team, based in Wroclaw. We are responsible for systems supporting lifecycle management and securitization of the structured products for the Global Equity Derivatives business and your focus will be around two platforms.

First is a global life cycle and booking platform supporting equity derivatives. It supports complex processes related to structured products and is responsible for booking, life cycle management and internal as well as external product data distribution.

Second is a strategic cross-asset securitization system supporting issuance and securitization of Equity, Commodities & FX products. It is used by EMEA and US lines of business with plans to roll out the application to APAC next year.

Technologies / tools used: Java 7/8, Micro-services, REST, JAX-RS, Elasticsearch, Hibernate, Spring, Guice, Cucumber / Fitness, Oracle, Git, Clojure

Your experience and skills

You have:
- 3-5 years of java programming experience
- ability to explain complex problems to peers as well as business, ability to work well with a team as well as stakeholders
- previous exposure to technologies like Spring, Guice, Hibernate, Oracle, Git, REST, JAX-RS, Micro-Services
- Elasticsearch, Clojure knowledge will be an additional asset
- excellent communication skills are a must, both in Polish and English

You are:
- a software craftsman focused on delivering clean code
- passionate about technology, with hobbies and interests outside of work
- able to improve older code bases, as well as apply modern best practices to new projects
- effective within the complexity, constraints, and boundaries of a leading global organization, operating in a highly regulated industry, running on bespoke software
- familiar with Automated Testing, Acceptance Testing, TDD, BDD
