We are looking for Database Administrator with hands-on experience working with MySQL and Postgres databases to expand our workforce. You will be part of a kick-ass, cross-functional agile team, consisting of Developers, Artists and Testers led by experienced Game Producer.

Your task will be to administer, configure and monitor extensive database environment including operational databases, as well as setting up of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR), maintaining technical and solution architecture and much more!

Key Skills:

- Strong proficiency in MySQL and MariaDB database management
- Hands-on experience with recent versions of MySQL
- Proficient in writing and optimising SQL and PL/SQL statements
- Ability to plan resource requirements from high-level specifications

Nice to have:

- Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc
- Familiarity with Git
- Percona toolkit
- Cassandra

Objectives:

- Monitor, configure and optimise databases
- Cooperate with other teams like BI, backend etc.
- Ensure that databases are backed up and recoverable including testing restoration
- Maintain technical and solution architecture and documentation
- Share expertise across the team and follow best practices
