What You’ll Do

You will join Advanced Services ( AS ) Cisco’s award winning organization that functions as the competitive differentiator for Cisco’s customers to solve their toughest challenges by delivering customer specific business solutions. GDC’s highly technical, global resources support customer engagements in all regions acting as a seamless delivery partner to AS practice and regional teams. These capabilities expand Cisco’s technical reach across all Cisco architectures – Route & Switch, Collaboration, Data Center/Virtualization, Cloud, Mobility, Video, NGN and OSS.

With a seasoned mix of broad networking knowledge and specific area expertise, as well as excellent customer relationship skills, you will:
• Design and implement complex solutions for Cisco’s valued customers
• Plan and document highly complex Upgrade and Migration activities across multiple Cisco technologies
• Manage and optimize our customer’s Business Critical Systems
• Provide critical recommendations to help our customers retain their competitive edge
• Build simulated networks in test labs to proof exciting new solutions
• Work in global virtual teams spanning functions, regions and departments.
• Contribute to the future growth and success of the Global Delivery Center

Who You’ll Work With

The Cloud & Network Services team consists of Cloud, Datacenter and Route/Switch specializations. As the largest team of Network Consultants in the Global Delivery Center in Krakow, the team is responsible for the execution and delivery of project and optimization solutions focused primarily on the EMEAR region. The NCE delivers the technologies, solutions and services that make a difference to our European and Global Service Providers. In this role, you will be “Cisco’s face to the customer,” working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering on our commitments. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and able to understand our customers business needs and challenges.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
• Typically requires university degree equivalent along with 4+ years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment

• Experience in designing, deploying or supporting Cisco Solutions
CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge is a must, CCIE level knowledge would be a plus

• Good knowledge of switching, routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, etc).

• Above average knowledge in MPLS and QoS.

• Good Troubleshooting and operations skills. Enterprise / SP customer setup and domain knowledge a plus.
• Fluent English language skills, other European language would be a plus (Italian, French or German)
• Strong customer-interaction skills
