Department Description:

System Management team provides solutions for network management and monitoring. We are looking for passionate engineer to join one of our Scrum Teams. Together with us you will develop products that are responsible for call performance, enabling LTE public safety communication systems. Our products are designed in line with the newest trends in software development. They are entirely developed and tested in our R&D center in Krakow.

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include configuration, development, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of installation and upgrade frameworks for Linux based servers in public safety communication systems. Our projects are carried out exclusively using Agile, Scrum and SAFe approaches.

Basic Requirements:

• Degree in computer science, telecommunications, automatics, robotics field or similar
• Practical knowledge of Linux operating systems from user and administrator perspectives
• Practical knowledge of Linux shell(s) perl/bash and Python
• Practical knowledge of VMware virtualization (ESXi)
• Experience with developing solutions with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Very good troubleshooting skills, an analytic approach to given tasks and problems
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and to switch tasks and/or used technologies
• Ability to investigate and solve challenging technical issues
• Accuracy and precision
• Ability to collaborate with onsite and offsite teams
• English language skills at level allowing efficient communication

Familiarity with some of the following will be a plus:

• Practical knowledge of PowerShell
• Networking protocols and network services
• Security aspects in Linux systems
• Experience with GIT and JIRA
• Virtualization/container technologies: KVM, Docker
• Automation frameworks for Linux
• DevOps experience
