Job purpose
As part of a highly skilled full stack software development team you will develop and maintain solutions used by our organization’s alarm installers and service technicians. Your focus will be on the API and database layers but it is preferred that you are able to do front end work as well. You will take an active part in design decisions and architectural matters within the team as well as contribute in fine tuning the team’s development and delivery processes.
Relocation to Malmo (Sweden) is required! We cover the relocation and residence costs.
Main responsibilities
As part of a full stack self-organized scrum team work with
- Full stack software development with focus on back end
- Software testing (unit- and integration testing and help testers out when needed)
- Requirements specification and analysis
- Design decisions and software architecture
- Estimation
- Documentation
Required Qualifications
- Technical skills:
- Java(8), Spring Framework, JSP
- Databases (MySQL, Sybase, Cassandra)
- REST
- Messaging (e.g. RabbitMQ)
- At least 3 years of experience working in software development teams
- Fluent in English and preferably also in Swedish
- Master of science or equivalent higher education
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile software development experience within large, complex, real time distributed systems
- Tooling (Git, Maven, Gerrit, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, JBoss/Wildfly)
- JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Bootstrap, AngularJS, react.js
- Distributed systems and systems monitoring
- Design for security, robustness, performance, scalability
- Software architecture
- Microservices
