The Role

As a Web Designer at FutureSight, you will work with our studio team on various projects for our clients and new startup initiatives.

Our team is very collaborative, and the product or experience design process is fast and iterative.

We are looking for an ambitious young designer who already has some web design experience. Your desire to create great experiences and websites, and the discipline to work hard to deliver on time are most important.

We are looking for someone with an “Let’s roll up our sleeves and get it done” attitude. Successful candidate needs to show energy, passion, “can do” attitude. Be proactive at every level. High engagement and communication skills are totally fundamental for us.

Once you prove you know how to work in our environment and how to follow the experience design process, you’ll be able to lead projects from start to finish on your own.

Responsibilities

Most of the time, you will be working directly on client projects from the stage of concept to completion, alongside project managers, developers, and other members of the team.

-Creating and developing wireframes and visual designs including designing samples of colors and fonts.
-Contributing in design of our own website as the part of planned rebranding
-Designing responsive websites for both desktop and mobile devices.
-Developing Low and High fidelity wireframes to present prototypes of client websites.
-Designing UI mockups of websites in various viewports (Mobile, Tablet and Desktop)
-Creating interaction elements and design style guides for developer handovers
-Preparing a clear communication and handover notes for developers
-Testing, proofing and delivering finished websites
-Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
-Working with creative briefs (software, big brands, trending products, interesting startups, people around the world), within the constraints of budget and time.
-Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
-Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
-Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
-Supporting other areas of the growing business as required.
-Showcase your creativity in producing creative and eye-catching websites and visual design assets.
-Maintaining our marketing website design, and drafting new campaign pages
-Delivering and receiving feedback
-Writing well-structured code, testing, iterating rapidly and collaborating with a variety of colleagues from different disciplines (marketing, design, engineering, and agency partners)

Key Requirements

-Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing websites and digital experiences
-Professional experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, Git and servers administration.
-Communicating effectively with fluent written and spoken English (at least C1)
-Be always curious to understand human behaviour
-Knowledge of Wordpress, especially Elementor with minimum of 3 years of previous experience
-Experience with Adobe creative suite, Figma, Sketch App would be very welcome.
-You can meet budgets and report on them.
-Strong knowledge of design principles, user interfaces and web standards. Working with adaptive and responsive techniques and technologies.
-Must have a dedicated home office or space and strong motivation to work remotely part time – independently and within a team; with occasional opportunities to travel abroad.
-Due to plans to open a local branch in Katowice we would prefer candidates from the Silesian area so they can attend the office when required.
-You are confident and are happy to attend physical or virtual video events/meetings
-You have a portfolio of existing websites and apps (including eCommerce).
-You are happy to take the lead on projects and think outside of the box to achieve the ultimate goal – delighting our clients!
-A strong attention to detail
-You are keen to constantly seek new amazing inspirations and creative ideas.
-You are interested in new technologies and willing to learn new systems.
-You are very organised and a great time-keeper.
-Good design portfolio showcasing talent on web and mobile
-Good knowledge of search engine optimisation principles

-Mobile apps production and WPA experience

Salary: 3,500 – 7,500 PLN depending on experience and agreement type
